Looking for any information about Thomas
Miller who married Elizabeth Crist 1823. May be connected to the Thomas
Miller who married Lydia Morehart. In 1850 were in Violet tp. Have not
located death record or tombstone for Thomas or Elizabeth. GEORGE FLETCHER. He was listed in the 1850
census for Fairfield Co. in the 1850. Age 65. Is there anyone that can
find his death date, probably in the 1850's thru 1860's Need any info. on
him. His wife was listed as Magdolina. Not sure on spelling. I was wondering about information about the
Griley memorial home. My last name is Griley, and I know I have family

James Am looking for death and burial of Daniel
Wetzler who died 1840 in Fairifeld Co. Some of the children belonged to
St. Mary's church. Did He? He had a son who was editor of the
"Eagle" newspaper. What happened to this son? Daniel's wife was
Anna Eyanson(various spellings). I would like info on my g-g-grandmother,
Mary Belle Sneidiker. She died when her children were little and all we
know is that she was born in Fairfield County on 3 Dec 1871. I don't know
if she was married prior to her move to my area but she did have a
daughter, Lucille, before she married my g-g-grandfather. Her only known
relative was an uncle and I I am seeking information on my gg
grandmother Matilda Barr. She was born in Amanda Township on February 11,
1823. She married Eli Hammel on September 10, 1843 and raised 5 children.
I have not been able to find out who Hugh Wm Everton is on the 1820 census for
Fairfield County. I am looking for information about his descendants or

near Bremen, Fairfield Co. Oh., d. 3Feb1903 Bartlett, Fremont CO., Ia. Her
father was Joesph Kerns b. Ky no date & don't know his wife's name.
Agnes married Lansford Chambers COOPER-BRANDT-MARTIn Andrew COURTNEY, b1824 VA, is shown on the
1880 Clear Creek, Fairfield Co., OH census. Also in the hosuehold are
Mary, 28, Wilson, 19 and John O., less than 1 year old. The children were
b in OH. I am looking for siblings of Henry D. COURTNEY, b 1826
Morgantown, VA. This COURTNEY family moved to OH by 1845. In Henry's
pension file, it lists living relatives as living in the Lancaster, OH
area. This Andrew is the only male COURTNEY alive on the 1880 that would
fit to be a brother of my Henry. I am interested in comparing notes with
any other COURTNEY researchers of this area. Looking for any information on Lucretia

born about 1943, probably in the Bremen area. I need names of his parents,

Kemmerer married to Catharine Miller Kemmerer. They were married in
Fairfield County June 5, 1856. At some time they had a son name Gray. And
about 1870 to 1873 was known to be in Vigo County Indiana. I would like to

There was a divorce in 1873 and I believe that the child Gray went with
Catharine who may have been with a Samuel Welch (Welsh). I am looking for information on the SHRIDER
family of Lancaster, Fairfield Co., OHIO. Bernard Shrider son of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Shrider of Lancaster in 1935. Albert and his wife lived at
656 E. Allen St. in Lancaster. Bernard also known as Bernie died due to
being hit by a car in 1936. He is buried in the Forest Rose Cemetery. He
had 1 brother Ralph who was in Carroll in 1935 and 2 sisters Edith who was
married to a Ruffner and lived in Pleasantville in 1935 as well as his
other sister Sarah who married a Groves and lived North of Lancaster.
Bernie married my grandmother, Ocie Whitaker-Watkins and they had 2
children, Josephine b. about 1927 and a son Arthur b. about 1926. Unknown
who took these children when their father died, since Ocie died in 1930. Searching for copy of obit for Mary Ellen

small church and cemetery that is located halfway between the cities of

died around April 1947, he was married to Audie Edith Lindsey and they had

1811. They married in Fairfield Co, OH, on 15 February 1829, moving to
Rush Co, Indiana shortly thereafter. Their children were named: Samuel,
Thomas, Robert, Margaret J, Salathiel, John, Martin, Matilda, Phebe Ann,
James Harvey, Nathaniel, Martha, and Richard. It is possible that Stewart
was born in England and came over as an infant. WAGNER - Searching for any information on

from a Bavarian area of Germany. Elizabeth Gemin was probably married to a
Mr. Bennett before she married Mr. Baumann in 1873. She would have been 84

thought Cordelia could be the daughter of Loyd and Sarah (Bresler)

am having a hard time finding out exactly what his job was other than a
baker at one time and why he kept notes re so many different individuals.
Here are some examples starting in 1907. He has itemized work times,
jobs,places worked and the wages of GEO CLARK, J.R. GERMAN, W.H. BLAKE all
at the HARTMAN STOCK FARM. He mentions the FOUR MILE LOCKS, the PROVINGER
DAIRY building burning down. The OHIO & SOUTHERN TRACTION cars running
to poultry farm. He mentions in detail the sucide of BENJAMIN F. EVANS who
was the postmaster in Shadeville, Ohio for 20 yrs. The accident and
eventual death of LEWIS HOOVER. He and CHARLES PLOUTS were driving a wagon
and were hit by a street car on the corner of N Columbus and Union
Streets. Charles was killed instantly. Has anyone ever heard of the EAGLE
MFG CO, HC GOODMAN SHOE CO, FOREST ROSE BAKERY, BRILL'S BAKERY, K&P
SECRET ORDER, and WOODMAN OF THE WORLD SECRET ORDER? P&M BAKERY owned
by HUFFMAN and MARKWOOD that closed Feb. 26, 1938? An earlier entry dated
10/03/1937 mentions that BEN J POTTS propriator and owner of the P&M
BAKERY died at 11:05 am. He mentions death notices of WESLEY P MILLER,
HARLEY BROWN, BUD HAYES, JOSEPH MUNDY, CHARLES EAST, BEN POTTS, and
ELIZABETH FRENCH. ELIZABETH BORRORS household goods were sold at public
auction. Forest had a brother Glenn who at the age of 21 'went bad'. He
was admitted to the Athens Mental Hospital. After some time he was
released and said to be well and safe. However soon after, he was said to
'be going bad' again. A Mrs. Hall's Mother who was 92 wanted to take Glenn
home with her and take care of him and give him a nice burial at the time
of his death. Anyone have any family stories about Mother Hall? Does

the marriage of Samuel MCDANIEL and Elizabeth HAUNCHEY (may not be correct
spelling of her last name). Elizabeth was born in Fairfield County in 1921
and married Samuel who was born in Maryland. The earliest records I have
found of them are the 1850 Census and the purchase deed for their land
which shows they bought land in Liberty township in July 1850. They lived
in the county their entire lives and had 12 children. I believe they were
